Davis Bay Elementary campus houses two distinct school programs: our traditional mainstream classes that we refer to as DEN classes and the Nature Education for Sustainable Todays and Tomorrows (NEST) .
Together these programs enjoy the learning environment that is the Davis Bay Elementary School campus and its beautiful natural surroundings. With our rich natural surroundings it is not surprising to learn that Davis Bay Elementary has environmental education and related science learning opportunities at the centre of our programming and learning.
At Davis Bay we value the participation of parents as part of our learning community inside and outside the classroom, on field trips, and as part of the Community Reader Program. We have an active Parent Advisory Council and Community program that supports our school through Breakfast for Kids, Roots of Empathy, leadership clubs, movie & games night, and various fundraising activities, and we have active community involvement with our Growing Green Greenhouse Committee and our community initiatives to begin grounds beautifcation - we are a happening place!
